Driving Directions to Campground

From Palisades Visitor Center, turn right out of the parking lot, heading down Catalina Highway. Continue approximately 2.6 miles. You’ll pass Upper Green Mountain Trailhead on the left, and the turn off to the campground will be on your right soon after.

Overview

Rose Canyon Campground is adjacent to Rose Canyon Lake, a popular fishing destination* in the Catalinas. Both the Day Use area and the Campground are run by a concessionaire. There is potable water in the campground.

The campground offers spacious, single-family campsites, as well as two group day use areas with ramadas, which can be reserved for up to 120 guests. There’s also an amphitheater available by reservation for special events. The single-family campsites are equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings with grills and vault toilets.

*You will need a valid fishing license to fish at the lake.
